On Saturday July 1st 2017, everyone is invited to attend the new Penticton Scottish Festival.
Whether you’re a Scot, or not, bring the whole clan to Penticton’s Kings Park from 8:00 am-8:00 pm for a Highland Games festival, and a taste of Celtic culture.
“There will be performances from a number of participating local music and dance groups, as well as audience participation events for adults and children”, says Brian Johnston from Penticton Scottish Festival Society, who adds, “the shaded grassy area of Kings park is the perfect setting for this family entertainment show
The show will feature Pipes & Drums, Irish, Highland, and Scottish Country Dancing, folk singing and a caber toss event for children in the audience to participate in a fun and safe way.
